Youssra’s practical training includes work at The Behman Hospital—one of the region’s leading psychiatric institutions—and at AUC’s Center for Student Well-being, where she supported at-risk students in developing emotional, behavioral, and cognitive coping strategies.

Youssra previously taught in the psychology departments at Coventry University and the British University in Egypt. During her graduate studies, she was also a graduate assistant at the University of Indianapolis.

With a commitment to fostering safe, inclusive, and supportive environments, Youssra’s approach is rooted in empathy and respect for individual differences. She believes in the power of therapy to guide clients toward self-awareness, healing, and growth.

“Therapy, to me, is a journey toward discovering our fullest potential. We all face struggles—thoughts, emotions, life transitions—and I see therapy as a space that provides the tools and understanding to navigate them. Everyone deserves to feel heard, supported, and seen.”
